At Divorce Matters® it is important to us that we support and invest back into our local community. Client Intake Specialists have a very important role because a potential client’s experience with our Firm starts with our amazing Client Intake Team. People who call us are often going through very trying times, and they are seeking our services to help them start a new chapter in their lives. Because of this, consistent empathy, professionalism, warm sales skills, and strong communication abilities are required.

Being on our Client Intake team requires the right combination of telephone skills, empathy, and ability to investigate to the root of potential client’s legal issues.

If that’s you, you’ll play an integral role in creating memorable client experiences. This important position involves complete administrative duties related to client intake and retention.

Other requirements include the following:

• Conveys confidence on the phone

• Sets the tone and the pace of the client phone call

• Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time

• Treats a call at 4:59pm on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning

• Demonstrates exceptional communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database entry

• Strong multitasking skills

• Inbound sales experience is a plus

• Family Law experience a plus

  • Strong ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

Our Firm handles several types of cases including Domestic/Family Law, Criminal Defense, Worker’s Compensation, General Civil Litigation, and Appeals. Our Firm is currently seeking a Family Law Paralegal with at least 1-2 years of experience in Family Law. We offer competitive salary and benefits and employ some of Denver’s best top-rated attorneys. We foster and encourage a positive and collaborative culture and strongly believe there is significant value in finding the perfect work/life balance. Our office is filled with energetic, hardworking & teamwork-oriented individuals.

Our ideal candidate for this position has at least 1-2 years of experience in Family Law, is comfortable in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, has handled a significant caseload, is detail oriented and organized, is familiar with deadlines and processes related to family law, is computer savvy, is able to work individually and as part of a team, and above all, shares our goal of delivering the best possible client service.
Some Duties / Responsibilities Include:

  • Docketing Case Deadlines
    • Managing Attorney’s Calendar
    • Setting Mediation and Hearings
    • Drafting and E-Filing Pleadings
    • Drafting Correspondence
    • Communicating with Clients, Opposing Counsel, and Court Clerks
    • Preparing, Reviewing, and Analyzing Financial Disclosures and Discovery Requests/Responses
    • Hearing Preparation

Our Preferred Candidate Will Have the Following Skills:

  • Ability to Effectively Communicate with Clients and Co-Workers
    • Strong Understanding of Applicable Rules and Statutes
    • Exceptional Legal Writing Skills
    • Ability to Manage Large Caseload and Multiple Attorneys
    • Strong Familiarity with Outlook, and Microsoft Office

Our Attorney compensation plan is unique given our generous revenue sharing split. This means that an Associate who has 2 years of experience has the potential to earn as much as a Senior Associate with 10 years of experience. A motivated attorney can make in excess of $130,000 with our Firm!

Job Description

Qualifications

  • You must have a passion for serving clients through a human centered practice with integrity, tenacity, compassion, and excellence
  • 4+ Years of Colorado Family Law Experience
  • Experience managing your own family law cases independently from start to finish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prioritize high quality service to all clients
  • Ability to represent clients with empathy and understanding.
  • Organized and detail oriented
