Get to Know Our Denver Tech Center Office

About This Office

Our Denver Tech Center location is one of our four offices here in Colorado, and also serves as our headquarters. Recently we relocated just up the street into a brand-new, larger office space that can accommodate our growing team and is much easier to navigate to. We love our new space because it allows us to continue growing and expanding while offering a better location for our clients.

Who Are We?

We are a client-focused practice that understands that divorce, child support, and other family law issues can be extremely stressful and difficult. That’s why we are here to take away some of that stress and difficulty. Every day we uphold our values of integrity, tenacity, compassion, and excellence when assisting and representing our clients. Our firm won’t treat you like just another client or another case. We treat every client with compassion and tailor every legal approach to the specific needs of each of our clients. This ensures that you are set up for a future that you and your family can look forward to.

Why Our Denver Tech Center Office?

Fall Into Fall

Step outside in the last week and it’s easy to tell that fall is finally here. The sun is starting to set earlier and the temperatures are beginning to drop. One doesn’t have to look too hard to find pumpkin spiced everything on the shelves of your favorite grocery store or in your favorite coffee shops. Here are five great ways to embrace the changing of the season and experience the best fall has to offer.
  1. Head up to the mountains and check out the changing of the leaves! You can see it starting to happen around your neighborhood, but there isn’t anything like seeing the foliage in full bloom up in the mountains.
  2. Gather everybody and have them over for a good old fashioned football viewing party. It’s a great way to catch up with everyone while getting to enjoy the game on Sunday.
  3. Find a pumpkin patch or apple orchard in your area. This is the perfect time of year to get out into the fresh air and pick these items yourself. When you get home, carve out that pumpkin, bake those pumpkin seeds, and turn those apples into an apple pie!
  4. Corn mazes are another great way to find something fun for you and the kids to do together and it’s also a chance to get outside and enjoy the cooler, more comfortable temperatures. They usually have all sorts of fun fall activities, such as hay rides, tractors your kids can explore, farm animals and of course – corn mazes!
  5. With such great weather approaching, it’s a great time to take your kids out on a fun autumn hike! Pack some water and apple cider, some snacks, maybe even a few slices of that apple pie that you baked from number three on our list!
We are all grateful for a break from the heat of the summer, but don’t let the best parts of fall get away from you. Carve out some time for yourself and try these five fun ways to fall into fall.

Volunteer Day with Knights of Heroes

Working together with non-profits within our Colorado community is important to our Divorce Matters team. One of the charities that our firm is involved with is Knights of Heroes, a group that hosts families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. They provide spring and summer camps where their volunteers mentor the children of these families.
A group of us spent a day up in the mountains at the Knights of Heroes camp helping them prepare for their spring session. We had a blast helping them get ready and are proud to support Knights of Heroes. To learn more about this amazing organization visit them here.

Happenings Around The Firm

Here at Divorce Matters, we’ve been getting into the holiday spirit by sharing our good fortunes with others.
Over the course of November we collected three boxes filled with food that went to the Hand That Feeds Food Drive benefiting the Denver Rescue Mission.
The founding partner of our firm Doug Thomas took things to another level when he donated $5,000 to the Denver Rescue Mission and their representative Lisette on air with Willie B on 106.7 KBPI!
