Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our attorneys in all phases of divorce and family law cases, from initial client intake to post-judgment matters. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of family law procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Manage client files, ensuring all documents are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Prepare discovery requests and responses, as well as organize and manage case evidence.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and answer general inquiries.
  • Assist with court filings and ensure compliance with local court rules and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Requires 1452 billable hours per year.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law.
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent education preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience ($60,000 – $90,000 per year).

Job description: We are currently seeking part-time attorneys passionate about family law. We are seeking attorneys who want to slow down or ease back into family law practice. The job is flexible in all aspects. You can take as many or as few clients as you want and only work the hours needed to service those clients. Work from home except when court appearances are required.

  • A minimum of two years’ combined experience in family law.
  • At least two years of litigation or trial experience.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, and client-facing roles is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases effectively.

Compensation and benefits:

  • This is a part-time position. You are paid a percentage of your collections.
  • Light travel may be required when courts insist on in-person hearings.
