Attorney Theresa L. Ferriolo represents her clients in matters of domestic relations, with special experience in child custody disputes, decision-making disputes, and property division in divorce.
Theresa understands the lingering emotional impact that domestic law disputes can have on families. She is empathetic to the fact that this is often a time when her clients are going through some of the most extreme stress in their lives. She also knows how important communication can be in relieving that stress, so she gives concise and detailed information to her clients, breaking down applicable laws so they understand where they stand.
Theresa attended the University of Florida, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Communications. She then went on to attend Western Michigan University Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While attending law school she clerked for the Florida Second District Court of Appeals, conducting research on various appeals while assisting the Honorable Judge John Badalamenti with court opinions.
Upon graduating, Theresa moved to Denver where she worked for another family law firm before joining the Divorce Matters® team. Here at Divorce Matters® she continues to represent her clients in all matters of domestic relations. For Theresa, setting her clients up to be in the best position for future success is her main goal. She strives to deliver complete and full agreements, covering details that most parties don’t consider, in the hopes that her clients won’t be forced to revisit the same issues again in the future. She is the voice for her clients, advocating for their best interests so they can get back to what matters most—rebuilding their lives.
When Theresa isn’t advocating for her clients, you may find her baking! She also enjoys hiking and camping during the warmer months with her boyfriend and dog.
