Attorney Rachel Connor understands that, while litigation in general can be stressful, family law is particularly hard because it affects the most intimate and important parts of people’s lives, including their family, financials, and their own personal desires. Rachel works hard to create an open and accepting environment, so her clients feel comfortable speaking with her, and so that they know that she is there assist them and not to judge them.

Rachel began her career working in human resources for over eight years. Her time in human resources gave her invaluable experience working with people and helping them achieve their goals. When she realized how much she enjoyed helping foster a positive change in the lives of those with whom she worked, she knew immediately she wanted to find a way to make an even more personal impact.

This led Rachel to decide on law school. She wanted to find a way to use her voice, negotiation skills and compassion for the betterment of others. She now serves her clients with these skills in a manner that provides her clients with the confidence, as well as reassurance and certainty, that they have the support and guidance they need and deserve through every step of the litigation process.

Rachel’s background and prior experience with real estate, accounting and finance law provides her with a unique skill set in the family law arena. She is very effective with reviewing business, accounting, and real estate documents to determine areas of disclosure deficiencies, accurate asset valuations, and potential hidden assets. This gives her a leg up in cases where there are businesses, multiple properties, and other financial assets that need to be divided.

Rachel joins Divorce Matters ready to zealously advocate for her clients and their desired outcomes. She aims to deliver relief to her clients – the relief that comes with knowing all your options; relief that there is a team behind you every step of the way; and the relief that comes from knowing that you will be okay and that there is a better and brighter future for you on the other side of this process.
